General Data Protection Regulation (BDAR) is the European regulatory framework for digital privacy. We have reviewed all personal data stored by UAB “Vertimų karaliai” accessing all our data sources, structured and unstructured data, currently unused and outgoing data through traditional databases.

Collection of information

Data collection to ensure the best quality of services begins with your first interaction with UAB “Vertimų karaliai” regardless of whether you have requested a quote, sent us a document for translation or subscribed to our newsletter. All information collected is stored or included in a database which is owned by us and which we also supervise.


The data we collect from customers and suppliers includes, but is not limited to: user names, email addresses, email letters, images, and short-term VOIP data (to ensure that the data link is working). We also protect any content that customers send us during online chats; we store suppliers’ data about their qualifications, level of experience and specializations.


Upon the occurrence of interactions with our services, we receive and store information such as your IP address and device ID number. This information can be combined with other information to track data such as the number of visitors to our sites.


We collect information to ensure the highest quality of service, and we do not sell or otherwise transfer the information we collect to third parties.



Your rights

We will respond promptly to any inquiries or complaints and will endeavour to resolve the data dispute within one week of your notification. Particularly complex issues can take up to 2 months to resolve. We will notify you in the first month if the problem resolution process will take longer than a month.


Where data protection legislation requires a response within a certain period of time, we will provide a response within the required period of time.



Data submission, storage, user data upload and services 

If you wish to withdraw your consent to the processing of your data in connection with any matter for which your consent is required as provided for in this Privacy Policy, you may submit a written request to UAB “Vertimų karaliai” by sending an e-mail to info@vertimukaraliai.lt and request to terminate the processing of data.


If you withdraw your consent to the use of cookies, we will not be able to provide you with all / part of the services and ensure the smooth operation of the website.


In case of revocation of user-uploaded data, you must submit your free-form consent revocation request to the data controller. This will oblige UAB “Vertimų karaliai” to comply with the requirements related to the processing of user-uploaded data. This process may affect our ability to provide services to you.

By undertaking to provide the highest level of service to its customers, UAB “Vertimų karaliai” may collect and store statistical information, including information that cannot be used to identify individual customers (depersonalised data).

UAB “Vertimų karaliai” , as the controller of user-uploaded data, will process such user-uploaded data only in accordance with the terms of service established by UAB “Vertimų karaliai” , the service agreement with the data processors and in compliance with the requirements of the legislation regulating personal data processing.

In order to provide our services, we may store your data outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and it may be transferred or accessed from outside the EEA. In this case, the data may also be processed by employees working on our behalf outside the EEA, another entity in our group of companies or any of our suppliers. Our contracts with all recipients of such data act as safeguards to ensure the security of your information. We store all of your information on secure servers owned by us or a contracted third party. By submitting your data, you expressly consent to this transfer, storage and processing procedure. In the event that we provide you with a password to access the service, you will be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of that password.

Preservation and destruction of completed translations

We keep the documents related to your translation task, including source documents, supporting documents and the completed translation, in our system for a maximum of 6 years from the date of ordering the translation task. At the end of the storage period, all documents related to your translation will be deleted from our system securely and permanently.



Legal information

UAB “Vertimų karaliai” respects the privacy and confidentiality of its customers and visitors, therefore, any personal information you provide to us will be protected in accordance with data protection legislation. We have created this privacy policy as a guidance for our customers and other stakeholders to explain what information we collect and how that information is used.



What information does UAB “Vertimų karaliai”  collect?

The information collected by UAB “Vertimų karaliai”  includes, but is not limited to:

You may request information about our services, download marketing and other materials related to the provision of services, request a quote and discuss the assignment with a specialist from UAB “Vertimų karaliai” .

The types of information you provide to us may include names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses.



Certified security

In order to maintain the security of your personal information, UAB “Vertimų karaliai”  is certified according to the ISO17100 certification standards, the highest global quality standard for translation services. We use industry-standard controls, including Internet firewalls and physical access controls, we perform sophisticated testing and assessments to maintain compliance with certification requirements as well.



Archiving of completed translations

The protection of your documents and privacy continues even after the work is completed. Upon the completion of the assignment, we mark the status of the file as “Completed”. After three months, the status of “Completed” is changed to “Archived” and stored for up to six years. At the end of the archiving period or when the client requests the destruction of documents, the file and all original documents, additional documents and translation files are securely destroyed.
